Dr Stan Landau qualified from the University of Stellenbosch and is currently working as a Senior Physician heading a large interdisciplinary clinical team at the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology, in Houghton Johannesburg and a Medical Consultant to the CDE. Additionally, Stan is an Honorary Lecturer, Tutor and MSc Supervisor for the Postgraduate Diplomas and MSc Diabetes Courses offered by the, Cardiff University School of Medicine in Wales and for the University of South Wales School of Clinical Sciences, also in Wales.

Stan is also the Editor of the South African Journal of Diabetes and a reviewer for the Journal of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes of South Africa.

Stan has a keen interest in pregnancy and insulin pump therapy and a wealth of experience in clinical research. His deep understanding of trial outcomes in the fields of diabetes and cardiovascular disease is hard to match.

Stan is a gifted and highly sought-after lecturer, educator and clinical mentor with a unique set of skills that make his masterful teaching memorable and practice-changing.
