MSc (Paediatrics) (Wits) BSc (Physiotherapy (Wits) Certified in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (Basic and Advanced courses) Certified in MAES Therapy
I began my career at the University of the Witwatersrand, where I earned my BSc in 2006. After completing community service at Edenvale Hospital, I specialised in paediatrics at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, where I worked for five years across various clinics and units, including the Cerebral Palsy Clinic, Neonatal and Pediatric ICU, Burns Unit, Hemophilia Unit, Pediatric Orthopedic Unit, as well as the General and Neurology Paediatric Wards. I completed my training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) in 2010.
In 2012, I joined the pediatric team at Netcare Rehabilitation Hospital in Auckland Park, working with children with diverse special needs. I earned my Master’s in Pediatrics in 2012 and completed the MAES therapy course in 2018. My practice includes providing chest therapy for children with respiratory issues, particularly those related to neurological and chronic conditions. Additionally, I have a strong interest in Hemophilia, serving both adults and children affected by this condition.
I feel privileged to work with children and their families, accompanying them on their unique journeys through life.
