Dr Evan Shoul

Private Practice, Specialist Physician and Sub-specialist in Infectious Diseases

Dr Evan Shoul completed his undergraduate medical training at UCT near the turn of the century. After working in the UK, he moved back to Johannesburg to complete his physician training on the Wits circuit. He then completed his Infectious Diseases fellowship and Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene on the ‘Wits circuit’, based at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.

He now works in the private sector as an infectious diseases physician. Dr Shoul is also a lecturer in the Division of Infectious Diseases, in the Wits University Department of Medicine where his main interests are HIV and travel medicine.
